On MatchMithra, every profile goes through an identity verification process — we match the member's live photo against their Aadhaar card to confirm they are a real, genuine person. No fake profiles, no catfishing.
Once verified, a KYC Verified badge is displayed on the profile — giving families the confidence that the person they are viewing is exactly who they say they are.
Each member uploads their Aadhaar card during registration. We verify that the name and details match the profile to confirm genuine identity.
The member's profile photo is matched against their Aadhaar photo by our team. This ensures the person in the profile is the same person on the ID.
Profiles that pass verification display a visible KYC Verified badge — shown to all matches and families so you can browse with complete confidence.
For NRI members, we accept Foreign National ID — Driver's Licence, National ID Card, or Residence Permit — matched against their profile photo.
MatchMithra's verification confirms only that a member is a real, identifiable person — we match their photo with their government-issued ID. We do not conduct criminal record checks, employment verification, or financial background checks. Families are encouraged to carry out their own due diligence before proceeding with any matrimonial alliance. MatchMithra is not liable for any information provided by members beyond what is verified above.
